My name is Shelly Rothschild Yekutiel, and I am in Los Angeles. I am 59 and I have metastic breast cancer. I recently completed chemotherapy, and I am undergoing radiation treatments. Cleaning for a Reason recently arranged for Goby's Cleaning Service to clean my house for free because I am too sick to do so. I wanted to tell you what a wonderful job they did and how grateful I am to your organization. I would not have been able to get my house ready for Passover without Goby's help. This would have been a disaster. For religious reasons, the house has to be cleaned of all non-Passover food items, even crumbs in carpets and behind furniture. In the past, it has taken me as much as a month to do this cleaning before I had cancer. Since I am not working, I could not afford to hire a cleaning service myself. However, Brenda and Phil of Goby's did it for free as part of your organization. They put together a team to come to my house and whip it into shape so that my family could enjoy Passover even though I was incapacitated by months of chemotherapy and radiation. One of the team even was a breast cancer survivor herself! Phil and I also prayed together,although he is Christian and I am Jewish. The spiritual portion of this program is very uplifting and important for breast cancer patients. We need to know that we are not alone and that we are in G-ds hands. G-d bless you for the good things your organization is doing! May you all be well and never have to go through cancer yourselves.

This free cleaning to Cancer patients is a wonderful idea. I wish it would have been around when My mother was a Cancer patient, I saw the way she struggled to try to keep the house in place and how frustrating is was to her when she couldn't. I like that this cleaning offer to people with cancer will ease work off their shoulders and they can concentrate on getting better. Thanks for that great and brilliant idea......
